He added: “You have to be mentally strong as the away team. If you have the ball, you have to be as quiet as possible, but it is not the first time for these players that you play in such atmospheres, so I hope that you can concentrate on what you need to do.
“I assume that our players will be ready for another fight tomorrow, for the simple reason that they were ready for the entire season, and many of them are experienced in this draw.”
David Moyes’ return to Everton has designed the ship and the descent now seems to be a distant threat, since three consecutive league victories move the Toffees nine points above the drop zone.
