Eurostar trains between Paris and London were canceled after a bomb in World War II was found on the tracks near Paris Gare Nord, the train operator said on Friday.
The bomb was found about 2.5 km from the Paris train junction in a northern suburb of the city, said Eurostar. The train services would only be resumed as soon as the device had been deleted by experts in the Paris police of the Bomb Service.
All Eurostar trains were exposed to at least noon in Paris, said the operator, as well as regional and national trains that use Gare du Nord.
