Electric network: an investment of more than 27 mmdh over 5 years

Morocco plans to invest more than 27 billion DH over five years to strengthen its power grid, as announced by Tarik Hamane, CEO des OneE. The purpose of this investment is to optimize the integration of renewable energies, especially wind and solar, in the southern and southeastern regions.

The country currently has an installed capacity of 44.3% in renewable energies or approximately 5,400 MW with 2,400 MW wind turbines, 2,100 MW hydraulics and 900 MW solar. Current projects should enable the goal of 52%.
Indeed, the management of the Intermittenz of renewable energies and the development of the electrical network is important problems.

The International Forum brought together more than 600 participants to approach the challenges and opportunities for the energy transfer as well as the positioning of Morocco in the green hydrogen sector and the development of natural gas, in particular through the Morokko-Nigeria gas pipeline.
