- Rabat – According to astronomical calculations, Eid al Fitr 2025 is expected to fall on March 31 and signal the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Pakistani Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the moon will be visible on March 30, which makes the sighting likely.
“The probability of a lunar visibility on March 30, 2025 in Pakistan is very bright,” said the research commission for Space & Upper atmosphere (SUAPO) in a statement.
“As a result, the Ramadan is expected to complete 29 days, and Eid al Fitr’s first day will probably be observed on March 31, 2025.”
However, the official date is confirmed by the Central Ruet-E-Hilal committee based on lunar visible reports from all over the country.
