The Moroccan economy recorded growth of 3.7% compared to 4.2% in the same period in 2023 in the fourth quarter of 2024, as the high commission for planning (HCP) shows. This progression was mainly supported by domestic demand in a context, which was characterized by mastery of inflation and a deterioration in funds.
Non -agricultural activities showed an increase of 4.4%, while the agricultural sector decreased by 4.9%. The added value of the secondary sector slows down to 4.9%compared to 6.9%in the previous year, while the tertiary sector rose by 4.2%, in particular through catering and accommodation (+12.8%).
GDP at the current prices rose by 6.2%, with a general price increase of 2.5% instead of 4.2% in the previous year.
