The African Alliance for Natural Capital (ANCA) joined the Bank of Africa (BOA) and was the first member institution in Morocco and in the Mena region. This partnership reflects Boa’s commitment to Othman Benjelloun in favor of sustainable financing and promoting African economies.

For several years, BOA has been developing innovative financial solutions in key areas such as energy efficiency, water management and circular economy. The bank has also integrated environmental, social and climatic risks into its management strategy and differs in its commitment to the BMCE Foundation for Education and Environment as well as its ISO certification for environmental and energy management.

The ANCA was founded in 2022 by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and FSD Africa and combines financial institutions, supervisory authorities and development actors to mobilize a collective response to environmental issues on the continent.
