In 2024, more than 114,365 citizens showed their wish to use the Direct Housing Aid Program, said Foreign Minister Adib Benbrahim.
At the moment, more than 63,000 people benefit from this, including 25% of the Moroccans living abroad and 32% of young people. Among them received 63% help of 70,000 dirhams, while 37% received 100,000 dirhams.
This program had a remarkable economic impact with an increase in cement sales (+9.45%), real estate loans (+1.7%) and loans to real estate developers (+7.2%). Every year around 113,000 residential units are made for popular and medium -sized classes, 94,000 of which benefit from this help. In addition, the program was expanded to cities such as FEZ, Settat, El Jadida and others.
