Details have arisen about the death of Miller GardnerThe 14-year-old son of the former New York Yankees star Brett Gardner.
Miller died on Friday, March 21, while the family went on vacation in a resort in Costa Rica Insider Edition. According to reports, the news was reported by the Costa Rica US message.
The news of Miller’s death was announced in an explanation by Brett, 41, and his wife, announced. JessicaPresent Published on Sunday, March 23, by the Yankees.
“With heavy hearts, we are sad to announce the death of our youngest son Miller,” says the explanation. “He was 14 years old and left us much too early after we got sick together with several other family members on vacation. We have so many questions and so few answers at that time, but we know that on the morning of Friday, March 21, he died peacefully in our sleep.”
The statement continued: “Miller was a beloved son and brother and we cannot understand our life without his contagious smile. He loved football, baseball, golf, hunting, fishing, his family and friends. He lived to the full every day.”
Brett played every 14 seasons of his MLB career at the Yankees before retiring at the end of the 2021 season.

He and Jessica, who married in 2007 – share an older son, hunter.
No cause of death was announced for Miller.
The Yankees organization also published its own explanation on Sunday, after Miller’s death was unveiled, which was partly: “Our love for the Gardner family is unconditional and absolutely and we will offer our permanent support and at the same time understand her desire for privacy at that time. May Miller rest in peace.”

“First of all, I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to Jessica and Brett Gardner about the loss of his son,” said 45 -year -old Mendoza. “Obviously I had a really good relationship with him. I think of him and the entire Mets organization thinks of the Gardner family.”
Mendoza and Brett, 41, played together in the Minor League organization of the Yankees from 2006 to 2007, and Mendoza later headed Brett as a bank coach for the Yankees during Mendoza’s time. Mendoza was discontinued in November 2023 as Mets Manager.
“I also have two boys and they were pretty close,” added Mendoza.
