Moore recently spoke about the challenges of filming nude scenes in “The Substance,” which earned her her first Golden Globes win.
She won the award for Best Actress (Musical or Comedy) for her daring role in the film, in which she went naked in some scenes.
She spoke about her experience as the lead actress in the film Women’s magazine that several conversations took place behind the scenes to properly bring it to life.
“It was a very vulnerable experience and we had a lot of conversations about it, but it took you to the rough place you had to go,” Moore explained, via The sun.

She continued: “For my part, I felt like it wasn’t sexualized because so many of my scenes were about the experience of being with yourself, and a lot of times we’re naked with ourselves, and it’s these Moments of our very personal view and self-judgment.”
“I think the depth of vulnerability and where it took me was, in a way, what was needed to help me exploit my own vulnerability,” the actress added.

When reflecting on her portrayal of Elizabeth Sparkle in the film, Moore noted that her personal life doesn’t match the character’s because she doesn’t seem to mind the aging process.
She explained that this is because she does not rely solely on her looks to determine her self-esteem, although Moore admitted that this was not always the case.
“That place where she feels so rejected and in so much despair, I think there’s a part of that that we – not just women – can all connect to on a human level,” she said.

“I’ve certainly been through this at various times in my life where I, too, placed too much emphasis on my external self and not enough on my internal self, and where I gave away my power because I was validated by my appearance. “Ironically, that was when I was much younger,” Moore continued.

The actress talks about recovering from a “rock bottom” during her acceptance speech
In her acceptance speech, Moore spoke about struggling and being at a “rock bottom” because she felt she was “not enough.”
She reiterated how much the award meant to her, having been nominated four times and struggling for decades to land a breakout role.
The actress said: “In the moments when we think we’re not smart enough, or pretty enough, or skinny enough, or basically just not enough, one woman said to me, ‘Just know that you never.’ will be.’ enough, but you can see the value of your worth if you just lay down the yardstick.’”
Demi Moore sparked controversy by ignoring Kylie Jenner at the awards show
Meanwhile, Moore sparked controversy on social media after she appeared to ignore reality TV star Kylie Jenner in a TikTok video.
The clip, taken as part of Sunday night’s awards ceremony, shows Moore greeting everyone else at the table, including Jenner’s friend and fellow nominee Timothee Chalamet, but not the Kylie Cosmetics founder.
Social media users were quick to express their displeasure with her, as many assumed Moore was intentionally ignoring Jenner.
However, some fans noted that Moore may not have noticed Jenner as he greeted several people right after her win.

The actress’ daughter defended her on social media
Moore’s daughter Tallulah Willis was quick to defend the actress from the backlash, urging fans on her Instagram page on Monday to give her mother “a break.”
“Hello @everyone but really press, I’ll nip this in the bud – we spent New Year’s Eve with Elle so it was a natural thing to get in touch with her after a win, this angel was completely shocked and delighted and moved during a warm period. “Room of well-wishers,” Tallulah wrote in part via Fox News.
She continued: “There was no snub whatsoever, had she seen that KJ wanted to congratulate her she would have given her the time and space. Literally, just give it all a break and let a girl enjoy her achievements!”
