The Décathlon Foundation started the “Shecan: Stage” project in cooperation with UNESCO and the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication to promote the inclusion of young Moroccan girls through sport. With the financing of more than 800,000 DH, this pilot program will benefit 150 young women from female households in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, which extends to other cities in Morocco.
This project is intended to offer young girls safe access to sports infrastructure, mentoring and training programs. “Shecan”, which uses sport as an emancipation instrument as an emancipation instrument, intends to strengthen self -confidence, team spirit and the resistance of the participants and at the same time promote better social integration.
