Everton Manager David Moyes says he is proud before he manages his 700th Premier League game.
In his second spell as Everton boss, Moyes also led teams like West Ham, Manchester United and Sunderland in England’s top flight during a successful career.
He will have achieved this feat with an elite group of managers together with Arsene Wenger (828 games with Arsenal) and Sir Alex Ferguson (810 games with Manchester United).
“It’s really incredible,” said Moyes. “If you start, I don’t think you will ever believe that you will be a Premier League manager but to get 700 games behind me is a fair performance.
“I am very happy. Two great managers stand in front of me in Arsene and Alex. I don’t think I will make your numbers, that’s sure. “
The Premier League Clash this weekend between Everton and Brighton will see Moyes, the oldest manager in the league at 61, with Brightons Fabian Hurzeler, the youngest at the age of 31.

The occasion is a reversal of roles for Moyes, the youngest manager of the Premier League when he took over Everton for the first time in 2002.
At that time, the late Sir Bobby Robson, 30 years old, was the oldest of the league.
“I remember that Sir Bobby gave me a few wise words,” added Moyes. “It is astonishing how things have changed and I was lucky enough to have chances in great clubs.”
Everton’s youngest 3-2 victory against Tottenham achieved Moyes his first victory since returning to Goodison Park and increased the club four points before relegation.
Midfielder Dwight McNeil, however, is subjected to knee surgery and missing him after the last seven games.
“He (McNeil) will probably have an operation on the knee,” confirmed Moyes. “It is a real blow because we need it back for set pieces, deliveries and its general game.”
