The French Minister of Justice, Gérald Darmanin, thanked Morocco for his cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking, especially in the context of the Amra case, after the arrest of two suspects in Marrakech.

During his visit to Rabat, Darmanin said that the suspects, who were considered dangerous and involved in the flight of Mohamed Amra, could be delivered to France in order to respond to their actions.
