Sar Prince Moulay Rachid led the official opening of the 30th edition of the International Edition and Book Fair (Siel) this Thursday, which was organized under the high patronage of SM King Mohammed VI. This big meeting of the cultural scene will take place from April 18 to 27 in the Olm-Souissi room.
This edition houses 756 exhibitors who represent 51 countries, with more than 100,000 public titles being offered. The Charjah Emirate is the guest of honor of this 30th edition and shows the cultural and historical relationships between Morocco and the United Arab Emirates. The show also celebrates Moroccans around the world, Ambassador of the Moroccan identity of Plural.
Conferences, poetic evenings, homage to large personalities of Moroccan creation and literary prices will underline this trade fair, which intends to strengthen the influence of Rabat International, while the capital is preparing to become the world capital of the book in 2026.
