Cristiano Ronaldo says the problem at Manchester United is not the manager and hinted at wider issues surrounding the Glazers.
After last night’s 2-0 defeat at Wolves, United are 14th in the Premier League table.
Ruben Amorim was brought in to replace Erik ten Hag a month ago but results have not improved with the Portuguese picking up seven points in his first seven league games as manager.

Asked about the situation at Old Trafford, Ronaldo said at the Globe Soccer Awards: “(The) Premier League is the most difficult league in the world.
“All teams are good, all teams are fighting, all teams are running, all teams are strong. Football is different at the moment. There are no easy games anymore.
“I said this a year and a half ago and I will continue to say it: the problem is not the coaches, it’s like… I always give this example… it’s like an aquarium.
“If you have the fish inside and it’s sick and you take it out, fix the problem and put it back in a tank, you’re going to get sick again.
“Manchester United’s problem is the same. The problem is not always the coach. It’s much more than that.”
I’ll adjust things – Ronaldo
Asked if he thought that was currently the case, he added: “100 percent. When I become the owner of the club, I will clarify things and correct things that are bad there.”
And while he didn’t say he would one day own Manchester United, Ronaldo claimed he would follow in the footsteps of former Old Trafford hero David Beckham and eventually own a major club.
Asked if he had spoken to the Glazers, he said: “I’m still very young and I have so many plans and dreams ahead of me, but mark my words, I’ll be the owner of a big club for sure.”
