On the occasion of the national consumer day, the Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasizes how important it is to protect consumer rights in an evolutionary economy. The Ministry calls for collective mobilization to ensure safe and fair consumption environment.
Specific measures were carried out in 2024: A draft law for monitoring online sales and the ban on unfair commercial practices was sent to the general secretariat of the government. In addition, 128,100 import files were examined, which did not lead to a rejection of 5,583 tons. The online sales control was also strengthened with 200 dealers -sites -review operations.
The ministry also modernized the national quality infrastructure by expanding the network of test laboratories to 14 units and strengthening the regulations for building materials and gas devices. The portal Khidmat-foundahlik.ma Made it possible to treat 2,600 complaints effectively.
