Classification: Who are the most influential Moroccans in the Mena region?


The Forbes Middle East Magazine has just published its classification of 100 business women and 20 most influential government employees in the Mena region. Classified business women are 32 activity sectors and represent 29 nationalities.

46 are emiratic, 18 are Egyptian and 9 are Saudi. Three Moroccans are there. The first is Meriem Bensalah, administrator, Vice President General Director of Oulmès Mineral Waters, who arrives on the 21st place. She follows by Salwa Idrissi Akhannouch, President of the Ace Support (23rd) and Lamia Tazi, President of Sothema (33 Th). Emirates Hana Al Rostamani, CEO of First Abu Dhabi Bank, at the top of the ranking.

Under government agents there is only one Moroccan, the owner of the Moroccan capital market authority (AMMC), Nezha Hayat, in the 13th position.
