The commitment of the citizen can only occur in the trust of trust in public institutions and guidelines, said Mohammed Bachir Rachdi, President of the National Stance of Constance, prevention and the fight against corruption (INPPLC), during a conference in a discount.
The body announced the start of the “trust barometer”, the first edition of which will be published at the end of the first half. This barometer will regularly assess the perception of citizens in terms of integrity and transparency in public management.
The first trends show that young people have the lowest trust in the institutions, while almost half of the Moroccans believe in their ability to act against corruption.
In order to strengthen this commitment, the INPPLC prepares a national strategy to clarify the values
The commitment of the citizens also includes a fair political scene and strong institutions that are able to use effective development policy.
This conference will highlight several lines of reflection, in particular the transition from participation in the commitment of citizens, the improvement of public politics and the role of civil society and social networks in mobilizing citizens.
