Happy Birthday, Christina Aguilera!
The pop star went to Instagram on Wednesday, December 18, to mark her 44th birthday with a topless portrait. In the black-and-white image, Aguilera strikes a sensual pose, crouching on the floor facing the camera, her platinum blonde locks brushing her bare shoulders. She is wearing a black leather newsboy hat, black short shorts, strappy heels and dramatic makeup.
““Birthday suit #44,” Aguilera captioned her post.
Of course, her fans went wild in the comments section.
“Happy birthday LEGENDTINA, THE BEST SINGER IN THIS WORLD,” one fan gushed.
Another wrote: “I’m talking about getting older but looking younger!!!!”
Aguilera, who won five Grammy Awards during her Y2K heyday, wrapped up a nine-month residency in Las Vegas in August. Three months later, she performed a surprise duet with Sabrina Carpenter during Carpenter’s Short and sweet tour Concert in Los Angeles.
At that time, Aguilera strutted into the venue in a black bustier and silver thigh-high boots and performed a vocal riff that introduced a rendition of “Ain’t No Other Man.” Carpenter, 25, then took the stage to complete the number, according to social media footage. They also sang Aguilera’s “What a Girl Wants.”
In November, Aguilera shared a rare snapshot her family of four via Instagram. The “Genie in a Bottle” singer posed with her fiancé, Matthew Rutlerand her two children, son Max, 16, and daughter Summer, 10. (Aguilera welcomed Max with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman in 2008 and shares the summer with Rutler, 39.)
“As she was walking to school with her dad the other day, (Summer) said, ‘When I grow up, I want to be either Mommy’s photographer or Mommy’s manager.’ It’s so funny,” Aguilera said fashion Earlier this year. “That’s what we said Will.i.am that (when he came to see the show), and he said, “Oh my God, she’s your daughter.” So daughter-ager is the word of the year. It’s just so sweet.”
Aguilera opened up about her journey with motherhood in an interview with Haute living in 2019 and explains how they juggles family and work to give their children a stable life.
“I made the decision not to tour for a while because I thought it was best to give my children a more stable, routine life,” she said at the time. “Even when I took the place (The voice), that wasn’t really something I wanted to pursue. I just decided, ‘It keeps me in LA and in a place where I can focus on my kids.'”
She added: “All my decisions have been influenced by (my children), but at the same time I have to make sure that I don’t lose myself and always stay grounded, which is important to me.”
