Chloe Bailey Responds to Questions About Dating Burna Boy (Video)

Chloe Bailey Don’t play around with keeping your love life private – no matter what people see in public! The singer recently stopped by the “Breakfast Club” and chatted about her career. Less than a month after showing up at Burna Boy In Nigeria, Chloe seemed to go back and forth when it came to being an artist!

“The Breakfast Club” have published their chat with Bailey on Jan. 8, which also included NAACP President Derrick Johnson and BET CEO Scott Mills. So, boom, here’s how the conversation led to Burna Boy.

Nominations for the NAACP Image Awards dropped on Tuesday (January 7), but the actual ceremony won’t take place until February 22. Bailey is nominated for Outstanding Music Video for her song “Boy Bye.” On “The Breakfast Club,” guest host Loren Lorosa asked Chloe about her red carpet date. The star replied: “My godmother and my manager.”

But Loren pressed and asked: “We won’t see Burna Boy anymore?” Bailey quickly replied: “You have to ask him that.” When Loren pointed out that Chloe was there and not Burna, she simply replied: “Uh-oh!” with a smile. Everyone at the table giggled at this. Afterwards, Loren explained that she wondered if he would publicly support Chloe Bailey’s nomination after their connection in Lagos. She also asked: “So, is this something new?” And again Chloe seemed to avoid the question!

“Nigeria was so beautiful. I had the best time,” Chloe said before remembering all the delicious food she had.

Loren Lorosa again tried to interject a question about the Nigerian star. She asked Bailey about Nigeria’s nightlife and mentioned that she had seen her at the club with Burna. “The nightlife, there were so many lights, so many colors” Chloe replied. At this point Charlamagne the god entered and said, “What are you trying to ask Loren?” So she asked Chloe if she and Burna Boy were “a thing” and if he was her “boo”.

“Well, I’m a grown woman, so you know. I had a great time in Nigeria. I really did,” she said.

Loren then asked what happened after the trip and mentioned that Burna was seen with another woman in Nigeria after Chloe’s visit. The singer replied: “I didn’t see that.” A few seconds later she added: “Yes, he is a grown man, just like I am a grown woman.

As mentioned earlier, Chloe Bailey sent her fans into a frenzy when she showed up with Burna in Lagos days before Christmas. It was the first time the two were seen kicking. Viral videos and photos showed the entertainers pulling up together outside a nightclub and partying inside. They seemed very familiar with each other, sitting close together and exchanging touches, such as his hand on her thigh. At the time, neither of them responded to the dating speculation the footage sparked! Since then, they have kept quiet about what their connection was all about!
