The first day of the Cheltenham Festival had a typical explosive start with impressive victories for Kopek of the Bord and Losssiemouth and a dramatic champion hurdle, at the constitution Hill and State.
After a short turnaround, the main protagonists return for the second day or stylize on Wednesday as it is now known. The earlier women’s day was renamed to be more integrative.

The only race at the festival, which does not represent any hurdles, is a competition for young horses that are not yet ready for jumps.
