An envelope of 21 million DH will make a new parking lot in the city center of chiefchaouen. The construction work of this pilot parking lot on Mohammed VI was introduced on Wednesday.
This project is part of a multi-part partnership agreement between the province of Chefchaouen, the Council of Tanger-Touan-Al Hoceïma region, the agency for the transport and development of the north (ADDN) and the municipal council of the municipal council of Chefchaouen, as part of the urban upgrade -Programm. The structure enables the city to welcomes thousands of tourists to improve traffic and reduce traffic jams, especially during rush hour.
This project includes covered parking spaces in a range of 5,400 m2 with a reception capacity of 209 vehicles. For this purpose, an outside space with a capacity of 38 additional parking spaces is added. The parking lot will also include administrative and health facilities and will be equipped with the latest security, monitoring and intelligent management technologies.
