CES 2025: Belkin has finally made a tripod for its TikTok Creator Stand

Last year, frequent Apple collaborator Belkin released perhaps the most over-the-top phone stand ever, which doubles as a cameraman, tracking and recording you as you move. The catch? There wasn’t a tripod included – until now.

The Belkin Auto Tracking Stand Pro is a $150 MagSafe motorized phone charger that not only offers standard 15W wireless charging, but also works with Apple’s DockKit The frame can be rotated 360 degrees and tilted 90 degrees so you always stay in the picture. Intended for livestreamers and vloggers, it can automatically follow you as you present or perform a skit, making it easier for you to shoot alone. (That means you can also use it occasionally, like making a FaceTime call.)

But at just under nine inches tall, its usability was severely limited out of the box. It’s great for recording from your desk, but if you need to stand up for your videos or move further away from your phone’s microphones, placement can be a little trickier. This made selling to the influencers’ core target group more difficult.

Third-party solutions could work around this issue as the stand has a standard tripod screw hole at the bottom. However, now Belkin offers a more official answer. Announced at this year’s CES, the Belkin Stage Creator Bundle adds a 5.6-foot tripod and a pair of portable lapel microphones to the Auto-Tracking Stand Pro. It also comes with a magnetic phone mount, so you can technically use the package without a tracking stand, assuming you don’t need your phone’s camera to follow you.

There’s no word on Android support yet, although given the tracking location’s reliance on DockKit, that’s probably unlikely. Even if you put a MagSage sticker on your Android phone, the software just doesn’t work well.

Prices are currently MIA, as are the specs for these lapel mics, as the bundle release is still a bit in the future. (It’s currently scheduled for May.) Even though it will have to compete with third-party alternatives (tripods and wireless microphones aren’t exactly new), the package will go a long way toward making Belkin’s motorized stand feel like a more complete product.

Also planned for May is the Stage PowerGrip, which is also still waiting for a price. This is more of a novel product as it is a MagSafe power bank that also makes your phone look a bit more like an instant camera. Completing the look (yes, it comes in multiple colors) is a handle for lining up your shots, as well as a button for shooting, but where there would be a camera viewfinder you’ll instead find a small screen that displays the bank’s remaining battery percentage. Like some of Belkin’s other MagSafe power banks, you can also stand the PowerGrip vertically to double as a phone stand of sorts, and it has a built-in USB-C cable for wired charging.

Belkin also has some CES 2025 products on offer, the prices of which have already been announced. In addition to a new BoostCharge Compact USB-C wall charger and a new BoostCharge power bank with 20,000 mAh capacity and integrated USB-C cable, the BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Wireless Charging Pad is a small wireless charging puck that should be ideal for on the go. This small round charger attaches to the back of your phone via MagSafe (or a MagSafe-style sticker) and is about as thick as a power bank but takes up much less space overall. Thanks to the built-in stand, you can easily use it as a phone charger on the go and leave your phone overnight so it works like an alarm clock. The only catch? You still need to connect the 6.6-foot USB-C cable to a power source. Luckily, you can include a power adapter with the device or forego one in favor of using a power adapter you already have, so you at least have options there.

The BoostCharge Pro magnetic wireless charging pad will launch in the US in April and will cost $20 without a power adapter and $30 with one. If you want to provide your own power, consider the BoostCharge Compact USB-C charger, launching in March for $30, with a maximum capacity of 45W and a USB-C port. A 65W version of the BoostCharge Compact will also be available in March for $40, while the BoostCharge Power Bank with 20,000 mAh capacity and integrated cable will go on sale in April for $50. The USB-powered products should work with any product that charges via a compatible port, while the BoostCharge Pro magnetic wireless charging pad works with any Qi2-compatible device.
