CD Projekt Red surprised us when it came out Movie trailer for The Witcher 4 at the Game Awards and revealed Ciri as the new protagonist. Amid all the excitement, some eagle-eyed fans have also noticed that Geralt of Rivia’s adopted daughter seems to sound very different than before, and not just in the “It’s been several years” kind of way. In a statement about it TheGamerCD Projekt Red confirmed that Ciri has been recast. While she was previously voiced by Jo Wyatt, Ciara Berkeley has taken on the role.
“Ciara Berkeley was cast in the role of Ciri The Witcher 4 “Cinematic reveal trailer,” said a spokesperson for CD Projekt Red TheGamerand later added that Berkeley also voices Ciri throughout the game. “Ciara is a talented actress who impressed us with her enthusiasm and vocal abilities, and we believe she has brought Ciri to life in this trailer in a way that is both true to the character and for fans of the Series is exciting.” So there it is.
