Casemiro is reportedly open to a move away from Manchester United, with Saudi Arabia a likely destination
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is reportedly weighing up his options with a possible move to the Saudi Pro League this month.
Brazilian broadcaster UOL claim the 32-year-old is ready to leave Old Trafford in January due to interest from six Saudi teams.
According to UOL, Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Ettifaq and Al-Qadisiyah are keeping tabs on the former Real Madrid player.
It is believed that Al-Nassr would be the most suitable candidate to secure Casemiro’s services and a move for the Brazilian would mean a reunion with former Real teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

The media also claims that Casemiro is open to a move to Saudi Arabia and that there are no “major obstacles” standing in the way of a deal.
The news follows criticism from several pundits over the midfielder’s performance in United’s 2-0 defeat to Newcastle on Monday.

Former Red Devil Gary Neville, who also took aim at Christian Eriksen, said: “Casemiro and Eriksen don’t have the legs to move around.
“Casemiro and Eriksen should not play together in the Premier League. It’s just that simple. When you saw Manchester United’s starting XI, you had to think that it would be very difficult for this team to play well.
“The two central midfielders cannot run. The three-man chain has no legs. They were absolutely terrible. You’re looking at the worst pound-for-pound team in the country.”
Earlier in the season, former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher praised Casemiro as a “great” of the modern game but said his performance level had declined and he should consider a move to MLS or Saudi Arabia.
Carragher said: “I always remember something when I retired myself. There was a saying that always stuck with me as a footballer: ‘Leave football before football leaves you’.”
“Football has left him at this top level, he needs to finish and move on at this level of football.”
