Casemiro says it is “too early” to determine whether he will stay in Manchester United next season.
The Brazilian midfielder, who reduced his season under Manager Ruben Amorim, expressed his wish on the field for more minutes.
The 33-year-old is currently under contract in Old Trafford by 2026, but since United wants to do his payroll, speculation about a possible departure in the upcoming transfer window has grown.
Casemiro spoke about his future and suggested that decisions would probably come closer to summer.
“It is too early to talk about the next season, but of course I have another year of the contract and then an option,” he said. “We have important games and we have Arsenal on Sunday.
“It is too early to talk about the next season. I am here, I am available with total luck and I am ready for the trainer and the club. As everyone knows, I’m a big character for the club. “

Since Casemiro came to Manchester United from Real Madrid in 2022, he has played a key role in midfield.
However, since Amorim took responsibility in November, he has been limited to just seven starts. Casemiro was able to appear against Arsenal this weekend with doubts about the fitness of Manuel Ugarte, who has recently been absent with Real Sociedad by United.
Despite his reduced role, the experienced midfielder made it clear that he continues to commit himself to do his best for the team and to recognize his desire for more playing time.
“Of course I want to play, but I always say, and these are my values, I respect the coach very much, I respect the club,” he added. “Every day I go to Carrington or Old Trafford, I try to do my best. If a player is on the bench and is happy, this player is not worth anything for a team.
“Of course I want to play, I want to have more minutes, but the coach is the one who makes the decisions and I have a lot of respect for him and for the club.”
