Casablanca set: 16 mdh for them assigned

An envelope of 16 million dirhams (MDH) was assigned to the economic strengthening of women with projects and people with disabilities (2022-2027) as part of the regional development program of Casablanca Settat (2022-2027).
The region’s council contributes to 6 million dirham, which aims at 3,000 beneficiaries and 300 female cooperatives and emphasize the importance of social and economic integration.

Partnerships were set up to create employment opportunities and offer suitable training. Among the remarkable initiatives, a support program for women and children in difficulties has 4 million DH and a regional investment fund of 100 million DH aims at 150 project managers, including 50 % women.

The Council also started an advanced digital technology center in Mohammedia, which benefits 431 people, and has set up programs to strengthen small companies and promote the entrepreneurship of women.

In addition, a declaration of intent was signed with the Association of Women’s Business bosses in Morocco to support this initiative.
