The authorities of Casablanca arrested a French citizen of Algerian origin on Friday, which was sought in a suspected role in a drug retail network and money laundering.
At the age of 42, this person was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the French judiciary.
His arrest was confirmed after review in the Interpol database. According to the first investigations, it is involved in these criminal activities between 2019 and 2024.
In addition, the man was placed in police custody, while he was waiting for his delivery to France as part of the international security cooperation.
