Rabat – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has signed a partnership agreement with Africa Global Logistics (AGL) to ensure transport services during two upcoming sports tournaments.
The global logistical giant is now the official logistics partner of the CAF for the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 and the Africa Cup of the Nations 2025, both take place in Morocco.
In a contribution to X, CAF said The partnership goes beyond sports competitions. “This partnership reflects a common vision: to make football a catalyst for sustainable development on the entire continent,” was the mail.
This happens in such a way that Morocco continues invest Efforts to fulfill international standards that guarantee the smooth organization of the two continental tournaments.
The North African country currently has more than 120 construction and renovation projects in six cities.
The work includes the revision of streets, improving access, signage, public lighting, pedestrian zones and the creation of green rooms in the cities.
2025 schedule for the Africa Cup of the nations
CAF unveiled On January 31, the schedule for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The tournament will be the largest edition of the Continental Championship, with games in nine stadiums in six cities.
The competition begins with Morocco against Comoros in Group A on December 21, 2025. This opening game takes place in Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, which can record 69,500 spectators – an ideal place for the highly expected start.
Rabat will be the largest guest city with four stadiums. Other games are played in Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Fes and Tangier, with each city organizing games in a stadium.
The quarter -final games take place in Prince Moulay Abdullah Sports Complex in Rabat and in the stadiums in Tanger, Marrakech and Agadir. The semi -finals take place in Rabat and Tanger, while the third game is played in the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
The tournament will contain 52 games for over 29 days and create a football festival that shows the skills and passion for African football.
In the 13th edition of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, from July 5 to 26, 2025, Morocco will take place. South Africa is the current continental champion after winning the title on Moroccan soil in 2022.
