According to BMCE Capital Global Research (BKGR), the total income of the companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange recorded an increase from 5.7% to 316.1 billion dirhams (MMDH). This growth mainly results from the good results of the financial, industrial and insurance sector.
Financial companies have contributed to this dynamic in particular, whereby their net banking product (PNB) increased two illustrations of 12.6%. The industries have also recorded growth growth, especially from the second quarter of 2024, which showed an increase of 3% to 199.1 MMDH. Likewise, the premiums issued by the Insurance & Brokerage sector rose by 3.9% to 23.7 mmdh.
At the same time, the total performance capacity of the listed companies increased by 10.4%and brought the net profit of the group (RNPG) to a significant increase of 16.8%. Despite a decline in the dividends paid by Morocco, the total mass of dividends decreased by 3.2%and was 17.3 mmdh. With the exception of IAM, the mass of dividends would have increased by 13.1%.
This publication of BKGR entitled “Earning-2024” shows the solid performance in most sectors listed on the Casablanca exchange and reflects a year of favorable growth for Moroccan companies.
