Building & Logistic Services (BLS) was launched on Tuesday, January 4, 2025, Had Soualem, the expansion of his logistics center “BLS Lakhyta Hub”. The work was started that the Minister of Transport and Logistics Abdessamad Kayouh. This expansion, which will add 33,000 m² to the existing 22,000 m² to achieve a total of 55,000 m², reflects the growing importance of the sector, especially in a context of industrial processing of the kingdom, the group said. As a memory, this expansion project benefits from a strategic co-financing of the International Finance Company (SFI-IFC) of 370 million DH at the end of 2024. The Investment Fund for Impact Stoa A for its part. contributed to this investment of up to 300 million DH.
At the beginning of the work, the minister announced the start of this year from a new edition of the Business Logistics Support program. This program offers companies technical and financial support to improve their logistical competitiveness and to strengthen efficiency in this sector.
Moncef Belkhayat, President of BLS, emphasized the importance of investments in this expansion and stated that the global BLS investment program in the logistics sector for the 1920s and 2026 increases to 2.1 billion DH and covers 39 projects in 19 Moroccan cities. He instructed that this initiative is the desire to strengthen the logistical capacities of the kingdom and to grant the construction and acquisition of 12 logistics platforms for a treatment capacity of 500,000 pallet positions.
