Alexis’ Rocha (25-2-1, 16 KOs) engaged in a non-stop exchange of blows and ended in a 12-round draw, with Rocha scoring one of the points against Raul Curiel (15-0-1, 13 KOs). on Saturday night at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.

Curiel had his best round in the eighth round, with Rocha covering the entire round. In the ninth and tenth rounds it went back and forth, with each team taking turns gaining the upper hand.
In the eleventh round, Curiel mostly prevailed over Rocha in a close fight. In the twelfth and final round, Rocha hit Curiel with a left hook to the chin at halftime. In the last minute, Curiel ends the strength of the two.

2016 junior middleweight Olympic gold medalist Charles Conwell (21-0, 16 KOs) stopped southpaw Gerardo Luis Vergara (20-1, 13 KOs) at 2:51 of the seventh round of a scheduled 10 rounds.
In the first two rounds, Conwell won both rounds, finishing faster than Vergara. In the third round, both opened up to the body in a solid round for both, with Vergara bleeding from the mouth.
In the fourth round, Conwell continued to prevail against southpaw Vergara, whose record shows weak opposition to the former Olympian. Vergara finally made it competitive in the fifth round, but still lost the round.
In the sixth round, Conwell drew blood from Vergara’s nose. In the seventh round, Conwell landed a dozen unanswered punches, prompting referee Thomas Taylor to wisely call a stoppage.
Former WBA, WBC and WBO Olympic super flyweight world champion and 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Marlen Esparza (15-2, 1 KO) defeated former flyweight world champion Arley “Ametralladora” Mucino (32-5-2 , 11 KOs), unanimous ten round decision.
Thomas Taylor warned Mucino twice for knocking Esparza’s head to the ground. In the third and fourth rounds, Mucino won both.
In the fifth and sixth rounds, Esparza came back and won both. In the eighth round both boxers went down.
In the ninth round, both had their moments in an action-packed round, with Esparza coming out on top. In the tenth and final round, Mucino had a strong finish and won the round.

Super flyweight John “Scrappy” Ramirez (14-1, 9 KOs) defeated southpaw Ephraim Bui (10-1, 8 KOs) by a ten-round unanimous decision for the vacant NABF champion.
In the first round, Ramirez supported Bui throughout the round. Bui suffered a cut on his right eyelid in the second round due to a clash of heads, but was able to outpoint Ramirez. In the third round, Bui performed well again and edged out Ramirez.
In the fourth round, blood streamed down Bui’s right eye. In the fifth round, Ramirez landed several lead rights to the chin of Bui.
On the sixth lap, Bui overtook Ramirez. In the seventh round, Ramirez defeated Bui. In the eighth round, in the final seconds, Ramirez landed a hard right punch to Bui’s chin, throwing his head back.
In the ninth round, Ramirez rocked Bui with a right punch to the chin midway through the round. In the tenth and final round, Bui achieved his best result in a close fight when he landed Ramirez.

Super Feather Victor Morales I (20-0-1, 10 KOs) stopped Ivan Guardado (16-3-1, 6 KOs) 0-1 in the eighth round of a scheduled ten rounds.
In the second round, Morales cut Guardado’s right eyelid. In the third round, Guardado came back with a left hook to the chin, hurting Morales in the first minute. Morales managed to get to the bell.
In the fourth round, Guardado came back well until Morales landed a left hook to the chin in the final seconds, nearly dropping him and having to hold him. In the fifth round, Guardado came back and held his own.
Morales’ right eye was closed by Guardado’s jabs in the seventh round. In the eighth round, referee Ray Corona called in the ring doctor, who examined the eye and ordered a stoppage.
Super bantamweight Jorge Chavez (13-8, (8 KOs) defeated Ruben “El Manichi” Dario Casero 12-4 (4 KOs) by an eight-round unanimous decision.
The referee was Rudy Barragan. The results were 80-72, 80-72 and 80-72.
Light welterweight Ricardo Ruvalcaba (13-0-1, 10 KOs) defeated Jabin Chollet (10-2, 8 KOs) by an eight-round unanimous decision.

Super Bantam Gael “El Terrorista” Cabrera (6-0, 4 KOs) defeated Garen “Hellboy” Diagan (10-7, 5 KOs) at 2:59 of the second round of a scheduled 6.
In the second round, Diagan went down, forcing referee Rudy Carriban to stop the match without a count.
Lightweight Joshua “El Americano” Garcia (9-1, 4 KOs) was knocked out in the second of six scheduled rounds by Uhlices Avelino-Reyes (3-1, 2 KOs).
In the first round, Avelino-Reyes went down after an 8 count from referee Chris Leben. In the second round, Avelino-Reyes lost for the second time, forcing Laben to stop.
Super Light Javier Meza (1-0, 1 KO) defeated David Music (0-2) at 2:58 of the first round of a scheduled four rounds.
