The National Agency for Water and Forests (ANEF) has opened an investigation into the illegal felling of 36 Aleppo pine trees in the Boulaouane forest area in El Jadida province.
Among the four identified suspects is an employee of the Azemmour Forestry District. An official complaint has been lodged with the Attorney General and ANEF is working closely with the judicial authorities to ensure that those responsible are punished.

The agency mobilizes all its resources to protect ecosystems and requests the cooperation of citizens to report any illegal actions. Note that these efforts are part of the national strategy “Forests of Morocco 2020-2030”.
