Share a summary of the books that I have read recently and whether it is worth adding to your collection.
Hiiii friends! How are you doing? I hope you have a nice morning so far! We are doing the usual homeschool things here and Iām looking forward to an F45 class this afternoon.
For todayās post I wanted to chat about books and share some of those that I have read (and canceled) recently. TBH, Iāve not devoted so much time to read lately. I worked hard through mine IHP Level 3 modules ā I try to end the Equilife conference in October ā and frankly to scroll much more at night. The days are so wild that it feels amazing to roll up with my weighted blanket and my scrolling, but the reality is that reading feels good and actually does something positive for my brain. I downloaded over five new books in the hope that I will be completely sucked in so that I can be back in my bookworm paths.
At the moment there is a summary of the latest books! I would like to hear what you have recently added to your collection and have not been able to lay down.
Books Iāve read lately
A golden summer ā DNF
I had great hopes This oneAnd I read other books from this author and loved them. They are usually fast, airy, with decent writing and a powerful action. This was flat. I read on and hoped that it would get better and I just slashed it. I finally called it with the end of 70%. POOH. I was pretty annoyed about it, but the reality is that the reading time is sacred and I will not waste time to read books that I donāt love ā there are too many good things out there. 4/10

Good things happen at the lake. That says Aliceās grandmother and it is true. Alice only spent a summer there in a cottage with NAN when she was seventeen years old ā where she took this photo, it was one of three grinning teenagers in a yellow speed boat, the picture that changed her life.
Now Alice lives behind a lens. As a photographer, she is most comfortable on the side and makes other people shine. Lately she is itching after a little more, and when NAN falls and her hip breaks, Alice has a plan for both: another summer in this magical place, Barryās Bay. But as soon as you stand up, your peace is disturbed by roaring a familiar yellow boat and the man.
Charlie Florek was nineteen when Alice took his photo away from a distance. Now he all grew up ā a shameless flirt that manages to make NAN laugh and Alice to be seventeen again when life was easier than taking pictures for fun. Sunny days and warm nights on the lake with Charlie are a balm for Aliceās soul, but when she looks up and sees his penetrating green view directly at her, she begins to worry about her heart.
Because Alice sees people ā thatās why she is so good in what she is doing ā but she has never met someone who looks her and sees her again.
Manifest: 7 steps to lead your best life
Since then I have been a big trailer to manifest myself The secret Hype days. I really think it works and that it will happen if you feel your goals and future in front of you. (I worked at Lululemon a million years ago and they let us do a visualization exercise of our whole day. From this point on, it began to end 10 years.
An interesting question is the distinction between manifestation and prayer and if you can use it together, especially if you are religious. I use it very differently for me. I donāt normally pray for things that I want to happen, but instead use it as a time of reflection and gratitude. I take the manifestation to imagine the future and the measures that I have to take to get to this point.
The author breaks up manifestation techniques and strategies as well as short journaling exercises. While a lot of it was a review for me, I was very good and the book was concise and effective. 9/10

Together with the Twilight series, Chelsea Handler brought me back into reading āFor Funā Post-College, and her first book made me cry with laughter. (Everything is inappropriate and probably not a PC of what I remember. So if you are a slightly insulted person, I would stay away.) When I saw that she had a new book, I downloaded it immediately and it didnāt let me down. I can only recommend the audio version so that you can hear the stories in your voice. This book was surprisingly inspiring and heartwarming and was also completely funny. 8/10
Out of Amazon:
There is a woman I want to be, Chelsea Handler thought as a child. It will be strong and confident. It will illuminate a room and spread the light so that others feel better. She will be his life. It will be a survivor.
Chelsea opened a lemonade stand at the age of ten and found that they would earn more money if the drinks were put. So she added her recipe to Vodka and used her income to upgrade on first-class vacation on a family vacation-parents and siblings in the trainer. She moved to Los Angeles and was released by her temperature job when she admitted that she didnāt know how to transfer calls. She played pickleball with the putz of an American dynasty. She sexed a governor. She shared psychedelics with strangers in Spain. When she accidentally ended up dinner with Woody Allen, she would not leave the table without asking him a very personal question. She went to national television and spoke about three. She has never been one that held back.
But this life of adventure and absurdity is only part of their history. Chelsea knows what it means to really show for her family ā can human, organic, organic and selected. She discovered how to spend time with yourself, meditated how you are open to love and how to end a relationship with dignity. She is a sister of the many women who rely on them.
Chelsea Handler surprisingly vulnerable and always outrageous and captures the antique-filled, intoxicating and joyful life that she has built up-a life that makes the rest think that I will have what it has.
Ok, friends: whatās on the Kindle? Are there books that have recently devoured and recommend everyone you know? Can I please be on this list? Thanks
