Chelsea secured a 2-1 win over FC Copenhagen in the Europa Conference League, with the goals of Reece James and Enzo Fernandez in the second half enough to see a late revival of the Danish side.
The first half was a closely competitive matter, and both sides fought to find a breakthrough.
Chelsea came close to in added time when Tyrique Georges Header narrowly missed the goal of a Reece James Cross.
Meanwhile, FC Copenhagen had her best chance when Viktor Claesson hit a well -placed effort with a difficult angle that played a well -coordinated ball from Birger Meling after the ball.
Despite several promising attacks by both teams, the 45 minutes of goalless ended.
Chelsea made three changes at half -time and demonstrated Enzo Fernandez, Christopher Nkunku and Levi Colwill to shake things up.
The decision immediately paid dividends when Reece James broke the dead end only into the second half.

Support from Marc Cucurella, the Chelsea captain, fired a right-wing shot from outside the box into the lower left corner and left the goalkeeper of Copenhagen without an opportunity.
Chelsea continued to press and her efforts were rewarded again in the 65th minute.
Tyrique George became a provider and put on Enzo Fernandez, who slapped a right -wing strike from the middle of the box into the lower right corner.
The blues saw control and now held a comfortable lead of two goals.
FC Copenhagen, however, refused to go down. In the 80th minute, Gabriel Pereira pulled back for the hosts and directed a Marcos Lopez crossing into the upper right corner to ignite hopes for a comeback.
The goal came shortly after Kevin Diks was forced to injure, which increased the challenges of the home team.
The match had a reasonable proportion of physical battles, with Trevoh Chalobah collecting a free kick and Kevin Diks received a yellow card for a bad foul in the final phase.
Chelseas Christopher Nkunku and Tyrique George were both caught away when they tried to stretch the defense of Copenhagen.
When the clock subsides, Chelsea managed to withstand the late pressure from the home side and held a decisive victory.
