The sisterhood continues to reign.
Actresses America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel released a joint statement Sunday saying they were “in solidarity” with their “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” co-star. Blake Livelywho is currently embroiled in a legal battle with actor Justin Baldoni, her co-star and director of her 2024 film “It Ends with Us.”
“As Blake’s friends and sisters for over twenty years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against what has reportedly been aimed at destroying her reputation,” the women wrote.

“During the filming of ‘It ends with us“We saw her muster the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and her colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read the evidence of a deliberate and vindictive attempt to discredit her voice that followed.”

According to the lawsuit, after a “general” meeting between Lively and Baldoni and some production staff, the actress requested that several measures be implemented to ensure a conducive, safe space.
“We are appalled to read the evidence of a deliberate and vindictive attempt to discredit her voice.”

Below are just some of the terms agreed upon by all parties:
- “No more showing nude videos or images of women, including the producer’s wife, BL (Lively) and/or her associates.”
- “No further mention of Mr. Baldonis or Mr. (Jamey) Heath’s past ‘pornography addiction’ or BL’s lack of pornography consumption to BL and other crew members.”
- “No more discussions with BL. and or their employees about personal experiences with sex, including those involving spouses or others.”
- “No further requests from Mr. Baldoni to the BL trainer without her knowledge or consent to disclose her weight.”
- “An intimacy coordinator must be present at all times when BL is on set in scenes with Mr. Baldoni.”

“Most disturbing is the blatant exploitation of the stories of domestic violence survivors to silence a woman who has asked for safety. The hypocrisy is astounding,” he said Ferrera’s statementTamblyn and Bledel continued. The film depicts an abusive relationship between Lively and Baldoni’s characters. The film is based on Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel.

Representatives for Lively and Baldoni did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on the statement.
The four women have maintained a strong friendship ever since.The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants“” premiered in 2005. The series, also based on the book of the same name, featured a sequel film released in 2008.

As Fox News Digital previously reported, Lively is suing Baldoni and his production company WayFarer Studios (which produced “It Ends with Us”), as well as several individuals, for a variety of things, including sexual harassment, negligence, interference with future economic advantage, intentional infliction of emotion stress and more.
Lively’s team is also suing for retaliation, alleging that Baldoni and WayFarer Studios “launched an elaborate press and digital plan in retaliation for Ms. Lively’s exercise of her legally protected right to speak about her on-set misconduct, with the additional The aim is to … “intimidate you and everyone else into not publicly revealing what actually happened,” the filing states.
According to the lawsuit obtained by Fox News Digital, a “scenario planning document” was sent to Baldoni, Heath and others by a contracted crisis management team that outlined three likely scenarios that Lively and her team could use and, conversely, how Baldoni’s team would respond, if she chose to “make her grievances public.” Lively’s attorney claims in the filing that Baldoni’s hired crisis public relations manager, Melissa Nathan, distributed the document on August 2, 2024 “to spread misleading counter-narratives.”

One course of action the team could take, as the document states, would be to “explore planting stories about the weaponization of feminism and how people around BL (Lively) like it.” Taylor Swift, have been accused of using these tactics to “intimidate” them into getting what they want.”
Bryan Freedman, an attorney for Baldoni and Wayfarer, said The New York Times“These allegations are completely false, outrageous and deliberately salacious with the intent to publicly offend and rehash a media narrative.”
Freedman added that Wayfarer and its executives and public relations team “did not take any proactive action or retaliate against Lively.” Freedman claims Lively’s complaint is “another desperate attempt to ‘fix’ her negative reputation.”
Representatives for Baldoni, including Freedman, did not respond to Fox News Digital’s previous request for comment.
