Bhad Bhabiewhose real name is Danielle Bregoli, recently opened up about having a nose job to battle cancer and addressed the backlash surrounding her decision.
The rapper became famous for her viral appearance on “Dr. Phil” became famous in 2016 and has since built a career in the music and modeling industries. In December 2023, she posed for Marc Jacobs while pregnant with her daughter Kali Love, whom she welcomed with boyfriend Le Vaughn in March 2024.
Since then, Bhad Bhabie has been involved in many controversial incidents, most recently involving her decision to undergo a nose job.

Bhad Bhabie reveals nose job amid cancer treatment, claps back at critics
The 21-year-old shared the news of her nose job on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, January 21, along with candid details about her experience and health journey.
In the posts, she revealed that she opted for the cosmetic procedure to remove “the bump” on her nose. She posted before and after photos, including a selfie taken six days after surgery that showed visible bruising around her eyes.
“Day 6! Nose jobs are not for the weak!” she wrote over the picture, in which she posed in a black tank top and matching shorts, her hair styled short and curly.

Dealing with the backlash
Bhad Bhabie was immediately criticized for undergoing cosmetic surgery as part of her cancer treatment. In response, she posted two text updates defending her choice.
She began by reassuring critics that her procedure had been approved by her doctor and emphasizing that it was possible to have plastic surgery while suffering from cancer.
“I don’t know who told you that you can’t have surgery if you have cancer,” she wrote. “I was cleared by my doctor. Take care of the business that pays you.”
She continued: “Lying about plastic surgery is a problem, and of course telling the truth about having it is a problem.” I choose to be open with all of you about what I have done and (People) still make it a problem. You’re all crazy.”

Fighting cancer and public control
The “Guicci Flip Flops” rapper also addressed rumors about her health, revealing in a separate video that she has been diagnosed with blood cancer: “Y’all are so worried about me and you don’t even know what kind of cancer it is I have! It’s not breast cancer – it’s a rumor.”
She further explained that her elevated white blood cell count indicates certain blood cancers or bone marrow disorders.

“I’m sorry for losing weight due to my cancer medication,” she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “I’m slowly getting it back. So stop running with the worst narratives.”
Bhad Bhabie’s mother Barbara Bregoli vehemently defended her daughter against accusations of faking her cancer diagnosis in an Instagram video. “How dare you?” she said about a particular hater. “I pray to God that one of your children never gets cancer. I had it twice. How dare you say my daughter is faking it, you vile bastard?”

From viral sensation to industry giant
Bhad Bhabie recently shared her excitement about her upcoming EP, highlighting her creative growth and newfound autonomy in the industry. “The single is definitely my thing and we had so much fun filming the music video,” she said.
She spoke candidly about the challenges of being a young artist in the music industry, especially in her early days at a record label. “When you get signed, all they think about is hits and marketing, especially because I was so young. “I didn’t have a lot of opportunities or a strong voice,” she revealed.
Now, at 21, she is embracing her independence. “I’m older now. I understand the game now. I will tell producers and music managers what songs I want and how I want them to sound.”
