The players of RS Berkane went on the field with a white T-shirt with a picture of Youssra in the game on Sunday against Moghreb Tetouan.
Youssra and her father were caught in a raging tide last week. Rescue teams managed to save their father, but Youssra was tragically pulled away in a sewage pit. Only until late at night the rescue worker discovered the child’s lifeless body.
In the field, RS BERKEE achieved a dominant display with a 2-0 victory, which she further won the Botola Pro championship title. Osama Lamlioui broke the Deadlock in the 56th minute before Yassine Labhiri sealed victory in the 69th minute.
Berkane has now extended her lead over 17 points via Wydad Casablanca and so far only six games in the league. Berkane is now a point before lifting the Botola Pro title. A victory or a tie against Ittihad Tanger will be crowned.
After the loss, Moghreb Tetouan freezes his points with only 15 points and leaves them precarious in the relegation battle.
