Barcelona are reportedly considering moving their Clasico clash with Real Madrid to a foreign venue in May if the renovated Camp Nou is not ready in time.
Barca’s revamped stadium is already behind schedule and there are fears it may not be completed for the game scheduled for the weekend of May 10-11.
The Catalan club has already extended its temporary stay at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in Barcelona until the end of April. However, this deal cannot extend beyond that date as the venue is hosting a series of high-profile concerts at the stadium in May.

Over the Clasico weekend, the Rolling Stones are booked to perform at the Estadi Olimpic, leaving Barca with a race against time.
The report on local radio station Ser Catalunya said the club would consider taking the game to a “major stadium in Europe”, although no details were given.
Should their hand be forced, Barca would have to seek permission from La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation, as well as Real Madrid.
After 20 rounds in the top flight, Madrid led the standings, two points ahead of city rivals Atletico. Barcelona are third, a further five points behind.
