Share some of our favorite adventures in Barcelona.
Hello friends! How are you doing? I hope that your week has a great start! We are here in Seville and enjoy the wonderful sights, purchases, delicious food and a few tourist things. It was the perfect mix of activities and chill. I hope that your summer is going that far.
For today’s post I wanted to share some Barcelona Adventures +, where we spend the night when they plan to book a trip. We could spend a few nights before and after Disney Cruise And fell in love with Barcelona. Of course it has the beautiful mix of architecture, from Gaudis iconic designs to modern styles, Gothic cathedrals and Roman ruins. It also has the feeling of a huge city (because it is one lol) to see and do many things with sooooooo. We could easily have spent a few weeks there, and here are some of the highlights of our trip.
Barcelona adventure
Eating in Barcelona
The food in Barcelona is 100%. I had it up there with Rome and we were blew up by so many of the restaurants we tried. They use many fresh ingredients and products, it is well seasoned, portions are perfect (especially if you like to share) and allergens are often clearly marked.
Flower meadow
This was our first meal in Barcelona and definitely put us on the right foot. I longed for a Tinto de Verdo (red wine with citrus sprinkle, like a Sangria, but less sweet) and Spanish tortilla. The girls and I shared some different things: chicken skewers, Greek salad, sardines and tortilla. P also got a burger and it was perfection.
Gluten -free food tour
I have an entire contribution about this experience, but we had the opportunity to try six different places with tons of gluten -free options. I have never had a croissant filled with GF-Nutella and it put my soul-fryeee. This was probably in the list of the 10 best things I’ve ever eaten. Barcelona has so many gluten -free options and dedicated gluten -free kitchens. Our guide told us that it is one of the best places to travel and live when they have celiac disease or are sensitive to gluten/intolerant.
Bloome from Sasha
This is a completely gluten-free brunch spot with pancakes, avocado toast, shells and pastries using biological and fresh ingredients. I would eat here a week if we lived in Barcelona. You have a few locations. So if you are planning a visit, I definitely recommend checking it.
Bart Bars
This was near our hotel and had great reviews and Spanish Tortilla on the menu – I was on the mission to find the best, haha
Roots & Roles
One of the highlights of our trip was to see my friend Sara! We taught together on the Canyon Ranch and remained in contact despite the whole country. OG Blog Reader friends would recognize you from our Soli Beat video, blog workout videos and summer form! It is absolutely incredible – one of the most positive people I know and I love every chance that we have to catch up.
We met and her husband for an amazing vegan sushi, gluten -free options, ramen, pad thai etc. The food was excellent and the company was the best part 🙂
If you live or visit in Barcelona,
Barcelona hotel recommendations
We were in two different hotels in Barcelona: Royal Ramblas in front of the cruise and with the roommate Carla after the cruise.
(Had the Hotel gym for me)
It was cute because it was the girls and myself, so we had our own small bed in any place. It is worth noting here that I almost always book our hotels free of charge with credit card points. We use our Amex Platinum for everything, and we have so many advantages as Lounge access, shopping credit, declines for everyday purchases, credits for your fine hotels collection, Uber -Credits -I praised this thing. If you are interested in getting one My recommendation link is here And I am happy to help with questions! More about how we use points for travel in this post.
Activities
There are many different tours and places to visit in Barcelona,
And made it to the White Rabbit Museum, which was a great success.
White rabbits mixes the Catalan culture with immersive experiences, including projection rooms, virtual reality, lights and sculptures. If you have children and travel to Barcelona,
Is Barcelona safe?
Our taxi driver warned us of pickpocketing and told us what areas to avoid, but I never felt unsure when we were there. I felt much safer than in many parts of the United States and I think like everything else, it’s about being aware of their surroundings and staying where other people are nearby. Stay in well -lit and rather populated areas, you know where to go and keep your things near you. (I carried that Mobile phone Amazon BAG This whole trip.)
The goal of this exploration trip we were on
I went on this trip with the intention of spending time with children, seeing new places and taking some time after a rather exhausting start by 2025. I also started this trip to look for a place to live. I felt that I could have clarity with * a perfect place * and Barcelona was the next. It has the feeling that we have the feeling that we love (tons of shopping, practically, so many gluten -free options and fantastic food), but with smaller charming neighborhood bags. We particularly liked the Grácia district. I don’t know if we are actually becoming more and more of Tucson from Tucson, but we thought about various options and kept our eyes open. 🙂
Have you already been to Barcelona? What is your favorite place for your favorite place in summer?
Xoxo
