Rabat-Bank al-Magrib (BAM) has introduced a new online portal that grants Moroccan citizens direct access to their bank account information.

The platform offers a safe and immediate way to access personal account details without relying on personal visits or intermediaries.

During the excited opening of Gitex Africa 2025 in Marrakech, BAM started his new one digital Portal as part of a wider wave of initiatives for the digital revolution of Africa.

The start shows a decisive step in the effort of the central bank to modernize public services and to recognize the wider atmosphere of the ambition and the future -oriented technical solutions of the event.

The portal is part of a broader advance to make essential bank information more accessible to the public.

With this new service, users can check a comprehensive list of their bank accounts, regardless of whether these accounts remain active or have already been closed.

The portal also presents an official channel for heirs and legal representatives to apply for details of the bank accounts of a deceased person who can then be called up by a BAM agency of their choice. In addition, people who issue checks can check all registered payment problems in connection with their checks.

To ensure that access remains safe, BAM has integrated Morocco’s official identity examination system based on national identification documents that have been managed by the National Security General Directorate.

The portal is now accessible to the public and is part of the Central Bank’s overall strategy to modernize the way important financial information is delivered to the citizens.

The introduction of BAM’s new online portal at Gitex Africa 2025 is part of the General Marrow of Marrokko to digitize and modernize public services.
