The maritime traffic between Tarifa and Tanger was disturbed on Thursday due to bad weather conditions on the street of Gibraltar, the port authorities of Algeciras said. All departures from Tarifa have been canceled, except that from 8:00 p.m., subject to improvement in the weather.
The connections from Algeciras to Tanger Med are also subjected to delays, although no cancellation has currently been reported. The Spanish meteorological agency (AEMET) has issued an alarm due to strong winds and swelling that can reach four meters.
A precipitation of 40 liters per square meter is expected in several Cadiz zones, with wind gusts of up to 80 km/h, now the road under increased vigilance.
