Last Tuesday I took part in my group ride and was able to keep up quite well, with no electric assistance on the flats and no assistance in the hills. That was a fun ride. On Wednesday I took a relaxing two-hour cruise on my recumbent bike. Thursday was a combination of hard upper body training and a hard ride for a total of two hours, which thankfully was well tolerated (no flare-ups!). Friday and Saturday were 90 minute easy rides, standing on Friday and lying down on Saturday. Yesterday there was a repeat of Thursday’s training, but it lasted two and a half hours. I was a bit tired later, but I’m fine today. It’s great to be back. But I need to continue doing my physical therapy to keep my orthopedic issues under control and stop if symptoms occur.
