Aya Gold & Silver: New positive drill results at Zgounder

Morocco’s Canadian company Aya Gold & Silver Inc. has announced new high-grade silver drilling results from its deep drilling exploration program at the Zgounder silver mine near Agadir. Results revealed also include those of the eastern zone near the open pit mine. Hole ZG-RC-24-277 intersected 2,425 g/t grams per tonne (g/t) silver (Ag) over 17.0 meters (m), including 6,311 g/t Ag over 5.0 m. Hole ZG-RC -24-228 intersected 1,356 g/t Ag over 20.0 m, including 1,799 g/t Ag 14.0 m. Hole ZG-RC-24-345 intersected 876 g/t Ag over 16.0 m, including 2,018 g/t Ag over 5.0 m.

In the central zone from the 1,950 m level, hole DZG-SF-24-219 intersected 321 g/t Ag over 21.0 m and 396 g/t Ag over 11.0 m; Hole DZG-SF-24-293 intersected 1,119 g/t Ag over 6.0 m, including 2,432 g/t Ag over 2.5 m, the company said.

“The results achieved, particularly those from holes ZG-RC-24-277 and ZG-RC-24-228, increase our confidence in the potential for expansion of open pit operations and high-quality resources, both near-pit and at depth “, says the CEO of Aya Gold & Silver, Benoît La Salle.
