Unai Emery hopes that Tyrone Mings tomorrow evening for the collision between Aston Villa’s Crunch Champions League with Celtic will be available-but he has alternative plans if half of the England is excluded.
Mings hobbled with a knee problem from Villa’s draw on Sunday and although Emery said that it was not a “big injury”, there is still doubt as to whether he will deal with the hoops.
The villa has to win to have a chance to push the top -of -the -top league and secure the automatic qualification for the 16th round. If you don’t, you will compete in the playoffs.
Villa’s defensive concern
The recent sale of Diego Carlos and Pau Torres’ ankle injury means that the villa is at the center of the defense for a short time and that Emery will go through hopeful mings.
Unais update about Tyrone Mings: “It is not a big injury, but every day it will be very important how it could feel better or worse. We will train and see how he feels this afternoon. ” pic.twitter.com/p5c9cnaom9

He said: “We will see this afternoon and then we will decide how every player feels. We also have Lamare Bogarde in the squad, he trains every day and competes very well.
“I think he will need more experience to get minutes.
“We have enough players to compete and feel self -confidence. For example, Lucas is Digne’s left and an experienced player. He can feel confident (play with Center-Back). First, when Tyrone Mings is available, he could play, but if not, Bogarde-the normally played in midfield sometimes trained as a central defender. I am confident and I believe in the squad we have.
“We have hurt the players now, but every team has that. We have a fact under which Diego Carlos wanted to go and he pushed us to let him go. I believe in the players we have in the squad. “
McGinn will probably start
John McGinn is fit after performing against West Ham as a replacement and probably returning to the start of XI.
Celtic is guaranteed to be a place in the playoffs and will arrive in Birmingham in Birmingham, confidently.
Emery added: “You have very experienced players, international players and will play here tomorrow and feel confident.
“The club is a prestigious club and the players are of the opinion that they are a team that plays in Europe, the Champions League.”
