Assets abroad: More than 2 billion DH declared

The spontaneous regularization operation (ORS) for assets and cash held abroad established by Article 8 of Finance Law 55-23 for the fiscal year 2024 ended on December 31, 2024. At the end of this operation, the declarations covered a total amount of more than DH 2 billion for 658 declarations, the foreign exchange office announced this Tuesday.

Specifically, financial assets predominate among the declared assets with a total amount of 916.2 million dirhams or 45% of the total. Next is real estate with an amount of 868.3 million dirhams or 43% of the total, while cash accounts for 244.7 million DH or 12% of the total amount stated. Note that the amount paid as final contribution to the Ministry of Finance is DH231.76 million.
