Arsenal boss Mikel Areta later said that he was “angry”, although his mood would have been even darker if the visitors had not won a deserved victory after Joao Gomes’ releases thanks to Riccardo Calafiori’s destination.

“As about everything in the world, Darren England, the Var, that the referee did it correctly and it is not necessary to send him to the screen.

Despite the sensation on the weekend, Oliver is still one of the best officials of the Premier League and he will take over the responsibility of the Plum Champions League between Barcelona and Atalanta tomorrow evening.
England will be Jarred Gillett’s assistant for the same game.
