Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says the club could make moves in the January transfer window – if they can identify the right players.
The Gunners are six points behind Liverpool in the Premier League and will be without winger Bukayo Saka due to injury.
Last January the club didn’t sign any players but Arteta says they may make a move this year.
He said, “I don’t know. The focus is on the players we have.

“If there is someone on the market who we can afford and we believe will have a real impact on the team, then we must always be open to that possibility.
“Right now the focus is on what we have.”
Team news
Saka is out for an extended period but Arsenal will have Kai Havertz available for Saturday’s trip to Brighton following his illness.
Former Seagulls defender Ben White remains out while Takehiro Tomiyasu is back in training but does not need to be brought back. In addition, right-back Jurrien Timber is suspended.
However, Raheem Sterling could be back soon.
Arteta said: “He (Sterling) is starting to do some things on the pitch, so that’s great news. “Let’s see how he progresses next week and if he’s available for next week.”
