Algerian hackers aim at the database of the Moroccan Ministry of Employment


Doha -In an enemy cyber attack on Tuesday, an Algerian hacking group, which mentioned as a “Jabaroot”, took over responsibility for the violation of the official website of the Moroccian Ministry of Economic Integration, the Small Business, Employment and Skills.

In his technical analysis, he outlined three potential security scenarios: “1. SQL injection attacks, 2nd file change (backdoors & malware), 3. Remote code version.” He warned that “mere knowledge about the name of the database file is a serious problem for itself.”

Algerian media claimed that their hackers had “managed to publish millions of data points that mainly refer to the names and salaries of Moroccan citizens”, including the CNS’s declaration of salary.

The cyber attack has temporarily disturbed Access to the ministry’s digital platform, although Moroccan citizens are unable to access the services of the website.

According to reports, Moroccan hackers have started counter-operations “On the Algerian government websites and on websites of the separatist polisario front”.
