The Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares said on Tuesday in Madrid that Morocco and Spain have ever achieved the “best climate of cooperation in the history of their bilateral relationships.
Before the Senate, Albines emphasized that the joint explanation adopted in April 2022 after the interviews between his Majestätkönig Mohamm VI and the President of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez, made it possible to build up a new dynamic of the collaboration.
The trade between the two countries has reached a historical level of almost 25 billion euros. There are more than 15,000 Spanish companies that export to Morocco and 660, and illustrates the solidity of the economic partnership.
Albares also emphasized the 2030 World Cup, which Morocco will organize with Spain and Portugal to strengthen the connections of friendship and cooperation.
He also praised the effectiveness of Moroccan-Spanish cooperation in the treatment of irregular migration and claimed that this question was “unmanageable” without the support of Morocco.
