“UM6P mobilizes its human and technical resources to support farmers and help them carry out diagnoses based on scientific foundations,” says the Outlook and adds that seven mobile laboratories travel through the country to carry out a free floor analysis. This also applies to UM6P laboratories in Benguerir.
Since the start of Al Moutmir initiativeOver 167,400 floor analyzes were carried out over 560,000 hectares.
Now the Al Moutmir program is trying to use more advanced technologies to continue its ambitious initiatives. The program of the program is now testing the laser -induced breakdown spectroscopy, which enables the analysis of a high volume of soil samples.
The technology also aims to reduce the costs to help farmers with their goals.
The outlook also referred to the phygital smart packaging solution, which was developed by the UM6P ecosystem startup-sensual-sensors, which enables the pursuit of NPK blend fertilizer bags in the local market.
The project alone offers 50 kilograms of fertilizer bags with electronic chips that contain data such as mixed formula, manufacturer, target region.
“As soon as the bags are scanned, they can be authenticated and persecuted to ensure that the farmer receives real products,” the report said and found that more than one million pockets were produced for the 2024-2025 agricultural season.
Dealers also started a project with GPS-Maroc through soil development, the OCP NTRICORPS and Moroccan fertilizer manufacturers, to map fertilizer points across the country in real time.
“The Moroccan market is now fully consuming the fertilizers using great -minor technologies,” the report celebrates. It promised that Al Moutmir will continue to offer a tailor -made support program, especially for small farmers via various platforms. The ultimate ambitions of the program are to help its beneficiaries to use good agricultural and effective practices in order to ensure vegetative growth, resilience of the climate and the efficiency of water consumption, emphasized the report.
